Congratulations to the seven young members of our church who partook in the Holy Sacrament of Confession for the first time on Saturday May 28, 2016.  This was followed by the Sacrament of Holy Communion on Sunday. 

The children were presented with their own personal icons by Father Walter and the attending clergy at the end of the Divine Liturgy.

From left to right, the children are: Luke Tolomiczenko, Sergei Tolomiczenko, Altar-server Anthony Mavros, Alina Dymchuk, Daniel Savula, Jake Papia and Adam Papia. 

The back row consists of Altar-server Nikolas Traczyk, Rev. Deacon Borys Melnyk, Rt. Rev. Protopresbyter Mikolaj Sidorski, Fr. Walter, Rev. George Gembliuk and Altar-server Mykhailo Khakhula.

Many family friends and relatives were present to support our young students and a special thank you to Mrs. Janina Pokolenczuk and her volunteer Sunday school teachers for preparing the children for this important milestone in their lives.
