On Sunday April 27th, St. Demetrius parish celebrated the Sunday of St. Thomas, and after the Liturgy the parish held its annual Parish Communal Dinner or Спільне Свячене. The meal consisted of traditional foods including paska, eggs, kovbasa, ham and horseradish. A short program followed the meal, during which Oksana Kosarenko beautifully serenaded the audience on the harp. This was followed by a special appearance by Volodymyr Odrynskyj and Halyna Hryhorchak from the Kyiv Operetta theater, who captivated the audience with their singing of classical and traditional Ukrainian songs.
