On Sunday March 3, 2024, St. Demetrius UOC held its commemorative concert in honour of Ukraine’s greatest poet and national hero, Taras Shevchenko.

Participating in the concert were members of "CYMK", children from "Studio Act & Shine" and St. Demetrius Sunday School, St. Demetrius Quartet, Stardust Jazz Trio, St. Demetrius Bandura Ensemble, and St. Demetrius Choir.
