On Sunday December 17, St. Demetrius parish was visited by Sv. Mykolai (St. Nicholas).  The children of St. Demetrius parish sang songs, recited verses, played on bandura and piano, all to welcome Sv. Mykolai to the parish!  After the concert, the (good) children were excited to receive a special gift from Sv. Mykolai!

Thank-you to all the children who participated.  Thank-you to Svitlana Zienchuk for preparing the program, and to Ola Lukaczyn and Oksana Balaban for assistance in the preparations.  Thank-you to Basil and Lukian Zmiyiwsky who capably MC’d the program. 

Thank-you to Oksana Chved and Oksana Klinovska for preparing the Sunday School children to sing, to Ron Demeda and the St. Demetrius Bandura School, to Greg Chved for managing the stage and sound, and to Larysa Kowalenko for taking the photos.  Thank-you to the Khakhula family for decorating the stage and the tree.
